Avarebele sambar (Hisikidhabele sambar)

Ingredients:

Sambar:
1 cup Hisikida Avarebele
2 medium size onion
Curry leaves
1 tea spoon mustard
1/4 cup oil
3 cup water
Salt

Masala Paste:
1 medium size onion
7-8 Garlic clove
2 Spoon Sambar powder
2 Spoon Chilly powder
Water

Coconut paste:
1 tea spoon Roasted gram(Kadle)
1 tea spoon Poppy seed(Gasagase)
1/4 cup of grated coconut
Water

Method:

Masala paste:
1. Chop Onion and garlic.
2. In pan, heat 2 tea spoon of oil.
3. Add chopped onion and garlic.
4. Fry for 5 min till garlic become little brown.
5. Add this fried garlic into mixer jar.
6. Add sambar powder and chilly powder.
7. Add little water and grind it to make fine paste.

Coconut paste:
1. Add grated coconut, kadle, gasagase into mixer jar
2. Add little water and grind it to make fine paste.

Sambar:
1. Heat the oil in cooker.
2. Add the mustard seeds.
3. Add chopped onion and curry leaves. Fry till onion become transparent.
4. Add Avarebele. Fry for 2-3 min.
5. Add the masala paste and cook till the dal split.
6. Add 2 cup water and coconut paste.
7. Keep on stiring. Cook for 5 min. 
8. Add Salt. Mix it well
9. Close the lid and cook for 2 min.
