Tamarind Chitranna (Hunisehaninna chitranna)

Ingredients:

Gojju:
3 medium size chopped onion
7-8 Green chilly
Curry leaves
Coriander
1/4 cup of grated coconut
1 tea spoon Urd dal(Uddina bele)
1 tea spoon Channa dal (Kadle bele)
1 tea spoon mustard seed
1/4 cup Tamarind juice
1/4 cup oil
4-5 Garlic clove
1 tea spoon Jeera (Cumin Seeds)
1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
Salt

Serving:
3 Cup Cooked Rice
3-4 spoon Oil
50 gm Groundnut

Method:

Gojju:
1. In frying pan heat the oil.
2. Crackle Mustard seed.
3. Add Jeera.
4. Add urd dal, channa dal and fry till it become little brown.
3. Add crushed garlic piece. Fry till it become little brown.
4. Add chopped onion, green chilly, curry leaves. Cook for 3-4 min.
5. Add tamarind juice. Cook for 5 min.
6. Add turmeric powder. Cook for 2 min.
7. Add grated coconut and  mix it.
8. Add salt according to your taste 
9. Cook for 5 min in low flame.
10. Add chopped coriander 
11. Turn off stove.
13. Prepare plain rice separetely.

Serving:
1. Heat oil in pan.
2. Add groundnut and roast.
3. Turn off stove.
4. In mixing bowl, Add rice and gojju. Mix it well.
5. Serve by adding roasted groundnut.

Note:
1. Gojju can be kept in fridge for more than 7-10 days in refrigerator
